Malmö Dockteater's staging of Jackie Collins' first novel in collaboration with Malmö City Theatre.
In meticulous 60s environments in dollhouse size, a story full of lies, passion and lust for power unfolds.
In hotel rooms, nightclubs, film studios and rooftop terraces in swinging London in the 1960s, millionaires and photo models rub shoulders with housewives and Hollywood directors. Life is about career, partying and sex. The World Is Full of Married Men is a lustful mix of soap opera, satire, pornography and drama where everyone has to fight their way through to achieve their goals.
The performance was praised by critics and audiences and was performed to full houses at Malmö Dockteater in winter 2021, at the Performing Arts Biennale in Västerås in June 2022 and at Intiman in Malmö in autumn 2023.
